Jan Veselý (born April 24, 1990) is a Czech professional basketball player. At 6 ft 11 in (2.11 m), Veselý was selected sixth overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards. He went on to have a distinguished career with Fenerbahçe in Turkey, winning multiple EuroLeague titles and earning the EuroLeague MVP award in 2019.

Throughout the forties and fifties primarily, Jan Vesely (1923 - 2003) was the Czech track and road cycling champion no less than 25 times. He also once won the 'Peace Race', an amateur cycling competition, with participants from all over the communist bloc.
